Since 1997 the Institute has the department of “Environmental economics and problems of sustainable development” of the N.P.Pastuhov's State academy of industrial management (Academician of the Russian Academy of Natrual Sciences, Dr. George Fomenko is the head of the department).
Since 2002 the department of “Environmental economics and problems of sustainable development” educates people on the right to operate in the field of production and consumption waste management. 390 people have been trained for the last three years.
